Long hair needs care, but as we, in most cases, can take care of our hair ourselves on an ongoing basis, pets with long, tangled and thick hair need a professional hairdo from time to time. Many people consider hairdos for cats and dogs as the epitome of unessential indulgence, but animals suffer greatly from long hair during the hotter months and many owners have difficulty shampooing them themselves.

In addition, long hair, which is not regularly combed, is fruitful ground for the accumulation of dirt, odors and even parasites. At the new hairdressing service offered by the Society, dogs and cats can enjoy being pampered and cared for at subsidized rates: a professional haircut, enjoyable wash and personal, gentle treatment. The expert hairdressing and beauty services are given with warmth and love by a professional and experienced hairdresser, with meticulous attention given to the animals’ health.<
